I am Ash Panigrahi — a technology and business leader with more than 25 years of global experience turning ambitious technology agendas into outcomes people can actually measure. Most of that career has been spent alongside C-suite and government leaders across energy and utilities, banking, automotive, manufacturing and the public sector; most recently as Client Partner and Executive Director at IBM in Singapore, and today as co-founder of Domainxeed, where I built an Energy & Utilities practice from the ground up. My focus is the energy transition and what it demands of technology: smart metering and meter data management, asset performance management across solar, wind and storage, energy management for distributed energy resources, digital twins, and the agentic AI now moving utilities from insight-driven decisions towards adaptive, autonomous energy systems. I trained as an engineer at IIT Kharagpur and studied general management at IIM Bangalore, and I have kept learning since — blockchain strategy at Oxford, smart city technology at MIT Media Lab, business sustainability at Cambridge, and GRI sustainability certification. I write and speak regularly on where technology, sustainability and the energy transition meet, and I am always glad to hear from people working on the same problems.
